It’s not often I get to combine my day job with reclaimed crafts goings on, but this year I was in charge of our holiday party, and naturally, I embraced a reclaimed theme. It was held in the gorgeous Boylston Room at Keystone Mill, a refurbished mill building in Easthampton, Mass. I used Pantone paint chips for napkin holders and all manner of hardware and salvaged ballusters for candlesticks. I covered salvaged florist vases with burlap potato sacks and filled them with (invasive but) beautiful bittersweet. Finally, salvaged Christmas tree trunk slices provided a nice menu holder. Voila – a reclaimed holiday party!
